   Yeah I used the ONE 3rd edition. The GO 930 has so many useful features with the traffic routing and advanced lane guidance which would be perfect for me living around D.C. Anyone using one of these?

   The GO 930 would be ideal for me living in DC with constant traffic. The rerouting feature would definitely save anyone time on a commute in this area.

   BE CAREFULL BUYING ONE OF THESE !!!!!!
   bought one yesterday connected the thing to my computer downloaded the new maps….switched it on and it wouldnt let me select any map… took it back today. had none in stock so i borrowed a ex display model and have to wait till halfords have some more in stock.
   nice features but tomtom are so commited to fraud with there maps if you do have a problem its all email based and you have to be patient.. no weekend support in the uk…...

   WARNING:

   Shoppers: TomTom’s no longer offer FM transmitting of voice instruction due to laws in Europe they have DISABLED FM Transmitting for the entire world.

   Existing TomTom users: if you perform the necessary firmware update above 8.01 you will LOSE FM transmitting of voice instruction. TomTom has disabled this feature for the entire world. Garmin, took a much more logical approach and only disabled it in Hungary and Poland (the two countries that ban the FM tranmission).

   Existing TomTom users: if you update firmware above 8.01 you LOSE the feature also. TomTom has disabled this feature for the entire world. Garmin, took a much more logical approach & only disabled it in 2 European countries that ban FM tranmission.

   BUY THE GARMIN – better maps and no tricky updates or false advertising.

   i bet you’re one of those idiots who has a garmin and falls in love with it, and you think everything else is right?
   you don’t even have a tomtom to comment.

   I have a GO 930T and it FM transmitter & voice works fine. It even lower my music between instructions…works marvelously.
   whatever works for you, great. don’t go out and barsh a company for no reason…IDIOT

   i see you go to every tomtom youtube site and paste your garbage.

   this has been corrected as of a later update. you have to have music playing over FM to have voice playing over FM. i created an mp3 of silence so i can have voice playing over FM without music.

    It seemed 930T has the same problem. I downloaded a lot of map color schemes, but I
    could not use any of them. The things in main memory or SD card could not be exchanged.

    @ilordvader I have this and I think it’s the best GPS in the world so yes it’s like 10x better.
